Snowflake Hands

I posted this on another forum. My question is. Does anyone hate the snowflake hands that Tudor uses as much as I do? I would like to see Tudor go back to Mercedes hands or Sword hands. I just can't bring myself to buy a BB because of the hands. I love the watch but those hands make it a deal breaker for me. What are your thoughts?

At first I also did not care for the snowflakes Chuck. But the more I saw them the more I came to like them and eventually bought a Black Bay Blue. After wearing the Black Bay for awhile I felt that the snowflake hands were just perfect for that watch.
Are they different? Sure. But, I came to realize, in a good way because it sets the watch apart from the others.

I think they look like perfection on the pelagos. The snowflake hands match the square dial markers perfectly. I am liking them not as much on other models but not a deal breaker.

Thanks, I agree they look best with the square hour markers of the Pelagos. I also have a BBN, and I think they make less sense on it (juxtaposed with the round markers on that watch) than on this piece, or on the snowflake subs of days gone by. Still, there's enough I like about the BBN dial for me to overlook any alleged shortcomings. 👍

I like them on Tudors, but I wonder, are they more visually legible than Rolex hands??? It is quite possible that they are technically superior to Rolex hands...

Don't care for them. I would have purchased a BB for my son but he didn't like the hands either. Maybe they'll could offer a LE version with traditional hands they started with.

I don't like them. It's the single biggest reason I haven't purchased a Tudor. Otherwise the watches look great.

I don't mind them on the BB, but I think they look a lot better with square/rectangular indexes vs round like on the BB

Someone else pointed this out to me and now I can’t unsee the issue. I love the snowflake hands but not with round lume plots.

No this pic was borrowed from a member who modified a BB with Mercedes hands and put it up for sale on the forum.

I didn't like them either but I still bought a BBN and am now so used to them that I don't notice anymore.

I even looked into buying a set of mercedes hands from the FleaBay but decided against it. After seeing the photo above it's back on my mind, that looks much better.

I kind of like them, makes it a pure "tool watch" me thinks.
