Nope. I think 47mm is meant to wear too big for 99% of us. So, I think if it looks a bit too big - that's perfect!

I see a little overhang at 12 o'clock side, which is very negligible and still it sits well on your wrist. Go for it!

I tried on the 321 44mm and 422 47mm - surprisingly the 47mm feels more comfortable than the 44mm. Sits lower on the wrist...
Still it's a big watch!!!

47mm is too big for my waist ,,,, but you do carry it off very well , is it comfy is the important thing

If in doubt, take the photo again from about 2 metres/6 feet away an then you'll see how it 'really' looks.

Look at the pics of the 44mm 533 on me below; close up, it looks a bit too big but from a more realistic perspective it looks fine.

From the camera angle it looks too large. If it fits for you go for it. If not or not sure look at a 45 mm or 44 mm.

Thanks all for the input - going to be 372/422 or the new 1312 !! With the thinner case it should fit better than the the 312. Plus I love the blue seconds dial
