The Hulk question.

I like the dial of the Hulk (116610LV) but the bezel in person looks kind of plastic and light colored. In the pics it looks dark and cool. Any chance they make it darker later? Or am I mad for thinking it looks odd? I do love the sunburst dial.
Thanks.

It just depends on the light and shade. I love to wear mine early morning.

I love the ceramic bezel on the hulk though I too thinks it looks its coolest in low lighting when it takes on a darker note. Indeed, I've even toyed with the idea of getting a black dial from a 116610LN to create a ceramic kermit.......

It's a really cool watch that changes color in a big way in different lighting. I don't see them making it darker later.

I've always HATED that green dial, too much green. The old LV was perfection , the new one looks odd to me, has from day one. Green bezel black dial would have been a home run

I like the way it looks close to dark forest green or black unless your under bright light. I just can see myself wearing it everyday.

All of the ceramic bezel inserts with the exception of the color black tend to change hues depending on type of light and conditions. The shiny characteristic is due to the bezel material. I have a Hulk and in more subtle light the bezel and dial match perfectly. Had mine for over 2 years now and it still amazes me the variety of greens this thing radiates depending on lighting. Go for it, it is a great piece, IMO

You are not ready for it. When you do, you don't mind the bezel. unless you are under direct sunlight, it doesn't look light. It will change color a bit.

This is really the best response one could answer with

You MUST be "ready" for the 116610 LV. It's a totally different feel from it's LN brother. The sunburst dial and ceramic bezel look different in every lighting condition. Natural light looks different compared to being indoors. There are times where the bezel looks very light as you have described. The next time you look down it may appear darker. It's a watch though that when you are ready, you will love more and more as you wear it. I say - don't over think it. If the green calls to you - go for it!

In my opinion, it looks too shiny in the dial. I also want Rolex to put the darker-green dial in this model. I like the old LV more. However, it still looks stunning in low lighting.

I actually think the LVc's strength is the dial under direct sunlight with different shades of green depending on the angle of the watch against the light.

Best modern SS Rolex. I absolutely love mine and it gets the most wrist time. I wear it for work with pink, blue, white, black shirts, whatever. It never looks out of place and always looks awesome.

The dial and ceramic bezel seem to change in the light. Makes for a fun watch to wear.

I like this picture, which show various shades of the Sub LVC. The bezel doesn't look like plastic to me and blends nicely with the dial. My opinion, of course...
