DD40 Weight....
Can someone please help me....what is the weight of the DD40? I searched and couldn't find it.
Looking at my second PM and curious how it compares in weight to the Smurf. Thank you! |

Heavy. Real heavy. At least the gold ones are.
This is my father's on my wrist This is my 14060M It's a substantial piece. I wore the two right around the same time and noticed a marked increase in weight with the DD40. I can't give you exact specs, but maybe what i can do is weigh both when I get home. The Smurf should be a touch more than my 14060M |

Yup. Same reaction here. One of the posters above said it's lighter than a Smurf. I don't mean to nitpick but I can't imagine that. Full disclosure, I've never donned a Smurf. However, I literally wore it within seconds of removing my 14060M. It's definitely heavier than the 14060M.

I imagine they weigh 10 grams less than the DD2s so around 200-10 on a 7 inch wrist. |

My guess is it's a little lighter than the Smurf. I have a RG DDII and a YG SubC. The YG SubC is slightly heavier than the DDII. I don't know the exact weight. I can tell you that after wearing my Platona, all of my gold Rolexes seem like SS and my SS ones seem like TI!

It isn't heavy enough to consider/worry about. Once you wear it for a day or two you'll forget you have it on. The only watch I have that is noticeably heavy is my rose gold AP Royal Oak Offshore on full rose gold bracelet. Weights probably 1.5-2x more than the DD40 or DD2.

I meant the DD40, specifically the WG.
Thanks for the replies! |

Once you wear it a while you won't even notice the weight.

I love the weight on gold watches. Makes me feel tony Montana. Already have a gold DD and saving for a YG sub.

Has to be something around 205-220 grams...tried one on this morning and its got a FANTASTIC weight to it. Not too heavy, definitely not too light. Makes the SS pieces seem too light/cheap.
