Real sneak preview of the GMT "Coke" platinum version
Got this crazy idea today to put my BLNR PCL bracelet onto the 16710 "Coke" - and it fits perfect. Cool. Now the 16710 has an EasyLink - and the Jubilee bracelet can continue to be worn with my BLNR.
Comfortwise - it balances perfect on the wrist. The original brushed SEL oyster bracelet for the 16710 is put back into the box. |

Brush the CLs and you're done.

That looks fantastic. Im a huge fan of PCL!
However, I reckon Rolex will release the "coke" (NRRO i guess??) as a two tone GMT to match the submariner line up: •Sub and GMT stainless steel models both have plain black versions as well as the LV and BLNR variants •Both sub and GMT have a white gold versions with bezel/dials that are unique to the WG variants. (LB for the sub and BLRO for the GMT) •Sub and GMT yellow gold variants both have plain black versions as well as the blue dial/bezel (sub) and green dial (GMT) variants ... So that just leaves the two tone variants where there is a difference. With the Sub you can go for the blue dial/bezel or black dial/bezel but with the GMT you just have the black dial/bezel. Therefore the "coke" GMT will come in two tone. The above is just my theory and could be way off the mark (only time will tell?) but I would love a two tone "coke" GMT like the photoshops I have done below: |

So that means the Glidelock from my SubC should also fit a GMT master 16710. Right? Might have to get one without a bracelet.

Thanks all.
Thanks. Yes. My plan was to remove the jubilee from the BLNR and put the jubilee onto the "Coke", but decided to try the BLNR bracelet onto the "Coke" first just for fun. It turned out nice, so I have no plans now removing the jubilee from the BLNR, and the PCLs can stay on the 16710. :) |
