Georgia Police officer killed

An Eastman Georgia police officer was shot and killed last night as he was responding to a suspicious person call. The shooter is still at large.
Godspeed to you Officer Smith, may your family find peace and your brothers and sisters in blue be safe.
We'll see you on the other side brother.

Not many things anger me nowadays, but this is infuriating.
So sad for the world we are in. Brothers in blue - stay brave and vigilant, be careful out there, many cowardly lowlifes roam the streets with sinister intentions and no good reasoning behind it.

Godspeed his soul and I abhor these acts against our thin blue line.
I will say this - we live in a civilized society only because citizens abide by the social contract to obey the law and respect those who uphold it to keep us safe.
I am not certain that people who break that contract, with malice and a disregard for life, deserve continuance of their oxygen habit.
