How does wearing a Rolex make you feel?

I love wearing a Rolex for many reasons, however, name recognition is not one of them.

I've read many comments from TRF members and some Rolex owners are proud, self conscious, overprotective, confident, nervous, etc.

How do you feel when wearing a Rolex?

But seriously- I love it. The big thing is that I love the design- it just looks amazing to me. It's a personal self-indulgence that I can enjoy daily and extremely lucky that I have the means to own one.

Like a Million bucks =) ... but seriously proud to have it on the wrist.

Just makes me appreciate all the hard work I had to go through to purchase it. Can't wait to get #2, 3 and 4.

Lucky. Grateful. Special. Accomplished. ...and old. Let's face it, there's nothing hipster about Rolex. Not even vintage.

I don't know man, you throw some vintage leather on that 5 digit sub in your avatar on you'd fit right in in Williamsburg BK :)

It's ok to be hip. But God please, not ok being a hipster.

Ha! I don't what hipster means to you, but I wear skinny jeans, have a beard, have tattoos, have long hair, play in bands, etc., and I've owned multiple Rolex watches.

I know this forum is full of a lot of guys who wear golf shirts and khakis, but no need to disparage others. If anything, hipsters are who will keep Rolex around later on down the road, once everyone is wearing wrist computers.

Hey nothing wrong with kahkis as long as they are rocked properly.

Subway in Tokyo.

Now go shave that handle bar moustache.

A Spanish brand named Callaghan. I love this model called Abiatar. They are pretty damn versatile and comfy too. I bought two pairs when I was vacationing in Spain last year. I wish I bought more colors! I'm going to Portugal next month and there are resellers there, so I might pick up another two.

I was in a tattoo parlor in Brooklyn not too long ago. The place was totally old school with barber shop chairs and the most hipster looking guy owned the place. Beard, suspenders, vintage suit. The watch he was wearing with his rolled up sleeves and fully sleeved tattood arm was a vintage Datejust from the 60's, it could not have looked any better or more at home! Hipsters and Rolex? ABSOLUTLEY!!!!

Props... People in my closer circles tend to poke at the fact that I have hippie/hipster tendencies, yet wear a Rolex. I don't fit in boxes. Boxes are boring.

Sticking to topic, I feel like myself. My watch is a ticking reminder of how valuable my time is, and to live my life accordingly.

Hehehe... Sounds more hobo than hipster. No offense intended, honestly. I'm sure you're cool as hell and rock the look.

Ha! I own a business in TV production, and it's safe to say it's a pretty casual environment. I essentially only wear suits to weddings and funerals...actually, I probably don't even wear a collared shirt unless attending one of those events.
