High Quality Single Watch Box?
I'm looking for a high quality (and beautiful!) display case/box for a single watch. There are cheap ones on Amazon/eBay, but I'm struggling to find something really worthy of a great watch. Some of the best watch winders fit the bill, but I hate watch winders and don't want to buy one just for display, never to actually turn it on!
Thanks in advance for any suggestions... |

Buy a Patek. Nice solid wood box comprised of rare Indonesian ebony wood. Nicest box I've ever seen.

Thanks - I should have been clearer: it's the display element that I want. I have some very nice manufacturer closed boxes, but I like to look at my "other watch" while it's not on my wrist!

Yes it does. I google for "luxury single watch box" etc and that's basically all that comes up. I still haven't found anything by the way (I don't want a winder, or a closed box, or a multiple watch box).

I have looked for a single watch display box and can't find any that are not winders, you could probably get one custom made from oak and glass. Have you thought about the Rolex display stands? They look better than this, the white balance is well off on this (not mine) photo.

Personally like wolf winders. There are very expensive one that i believe are not worth it.

I used a exhibition front winder (I believe Chiyoda) as display case. Bought it off Amazon. I actually quit using the winder function and just used it to store my other Rolex, which I recently sold.

This is kind of an old thread (mid-August), but if someone is willing to pay for a high end watch display case, the best answer is to seek a good cabinet maker in your area. A craftsman can build an heirloom quality bespoke case for a few hundred bucks.
