Dominos Pizza

Does anyone know the back story of why Rolex made a Domino's Pizza air King? It just seems odd that a brand such as Rolex would associate and partner up with Dominos Pizza and go as far as to alter the bracelet with a Dominos logo!

I'm sure Dominos approached Rolex to make some watches for use as employee awards.

Rolex certainly didn't need to approach Dominos.

Many companies have had custom dials - usually date justs - presented to employees.
