I was after a BBB then this happened!

I was in the AD to try some Tudors and tried some Black Bays (ETA powered). When I wanted to compare with a SubC, they told me the closest they have is a BLNR.
It was love at first sight all over again. Almost this time last year, I was between Milgauss and BLNR. Well lets just say, I was not able to get over BLNR.
Since my DaytonaC order is no where near, I pulled the trigger on this beauty. So far so good. Here are some obligatory wrist shots.

Nice blnr 👍 . Good choice. Lucky for you to just stumble into one. They are a little bit hard to find.

Thanks for all the kind words.
BLNR is definitely a gorgeous piece.

Actually they show it to me after 30 minutes of general watch talk. It was under the counter if you know what I mean.

They are indeed nice watches but I think Milgauss does not sing to me as it was a year ago. Thinking about flipping towards a SubC. That will solve my BBB hunger as well.

Well that is an amazing suspicion anyone can have. Congrats in advance

Agreed. I found this one on a business trip. My AD can not even tell if they will receive one or not.

I think you should go for it as BLNR and Submariner makes a great duo.

It definitely does. Thats why I am planning on flipping Milgauss.

I bet that was a great feeling.

"Oh we haven't got a sub sir, but we have this one to compare it to"

My eyes would have lit up.

Do you think it was a sales tactic or just the salesperson being helpful.
Well I thought that was a sales tactic as well but since I was contemplating a BLNR for almost a year, that was a win/win for both parties. I highly think they a Sub under some other counter as well.

Totally agree. After I found out my AD sold the white dial by "mistake" to someone else, this was an easier decision for. When Daytona arrives, I will be almost done with my dream trio.

Indeed. The minute they bring the BLNR, there was nothing left to compare. No offense to BBB owners which I still think is a great watch. Especially the ETA one.
