Stolen 118238
Good morning all. I had one of my personal watches stolen from my hotel room while in Miami. It is a 118238 with a factory champagne diamond dial. It was a mistake on my part as I left it on the nightstand while I went to the beach...just totally forgot about it. When I returned, it was gone. I had a report filed, and the detectives are going to review the hotel tapes. The watch is an f serial... Florida dealers, please keep an eye out for me.
Best regards, Brett |

Not at all. Google "opening hotel safe with magnet". Your wrist is the only safe place. OP, I am sure you notified the hotel as the police were called but they have a record of every time that door was swiped. Assuming someone entered via the main door and not a patio door of some type. At least then you know whose card opened the door. Then the oil I can put the screws to them. Hope your watch gets returned promptly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I'm very sorry to hear your watch was stolen. No doubt you were in Miami to relax and enjoy yourself only to have some swine steal your watch. As one member already suggested, get a copy of the police report and call Rolex in NYC the moment you have that report in your hand. Rolex will give you a fax number and once you fax them a copy of the police report, they will add it to their stolen watch database. If it ever shows up at a Rolex RSC, they will keep it and contact you. You may already know this information, but I'm just trying to be helpful. Early this morning I read where another member just had his watch stolen today as well. I hope the police catch the swine even if you do have insurance. Let him or her spend some time in jail.

That's terrible! That watch is gorgeous too. I hope the detectives find the person responsible. I always keep the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door just for this reason, and hide my valuables.

Horrible!! Best of luck to you. Seems like in this situation someone has to know something. Only so many people with access to your room.

Hoping it gets found! Regardless, the hotel should be able to look into the logs of whose key opened your door. Was your watch insured?
