What questions are you asking when buying used on TRF?
Let's assume the seller is well known and has references.
What questions about the watch should I be asking when I am not able to physically inspect the watch? I've ask for additional pictures (close up images) of damages/scratches/dents and seller assures me the watch is in full working order. Most of the details about the watch are in the posting from seller, but i'm wondering if there's other things I should consider (not advertised) when buying preowned? |

When buying from a "Trusted Seller" (members who basically only sell watches) on here; what you see is what you get.
When buying from a member I always ask how long they've had it, if they are the original owner, how it runs, has it been serviced... Other than seeing pics of the watch and the boxes/papers there really isn't much else to know.

Well...hopefully there isn't any damage to see close up or otherwise.
Not knowing the details of which you speak...when was the last service - if known. Box, papers, books would be good to know. All links present? |
