Lume Plots
Been itching to add a vintage DJ or DD to the collection for a while, but I've failed to find a nice example that talks to me yet. Partly because I've been obsessed to find that 'perfect' example. As you know, in vintage watches this is no easy task...More so if you don't feel like over-paying for a watch that isn't rare at all.
So now I ask you, how important is it for you for the lume plots to be intact? I feel like I can live with a little polishing, some scratches one the case, but I want the damn lume plots to be perfect! Is that to much to ask on the sub 3k range for DJ or sub 6k for DD? Thanks fellas |

I'm not big on those models, but in all cases value is increased with originality and original dial fully intact is worth more than original dial not fully intact.
If you are on a tight budget (like me) you have to accept certain imperfections to achieve your goals, or wait and save longer. Then there is always the deal of the decade that rolls along every so often (my 9411 was that one for me) and you have to jump. I'm not sure if that was helpful but food for thought anyway. |
