How to identify aftermarket bezel ring?

Hey.
Simple question but probably not a simple answer. How can we identify an aftermarket bezel ring from a genuine one?
And if someone used an aftermarket knowing that it was, is there anything that would be jeopardised really with the watch?
Is it perhaps not good for insert, prone to scratch it? or not good to mount the bezel ring on the watch maybe any reason.

Silly question but it is good to know just in case there is something someone learned before from experience.
Thanks.

I mean generally, but here as an example for 5513 and 1675.
These two are probably aftermarket based on prices and "condition" of being new.
How can it be identified, and is it actually a problem if somebody used an aftermarket bezel ring if it did the job fine.

Those are not original. Rolex charges around $265 for a complete bezel assembly if you take the watch to them.

Typically if something says unbranded I would assume aftermarket. When it comes to things like this it it were authentic I imagine the seller would be all over that and list that in description. I don't have enough experience to know if it's already mounted on a watch how to tell. I will leave that to the pros on the site.

That is my point exactly. If mounted on a watch you buy, how to tell the difference?
My friend had an aftermarket on his, and I couldn't tell it apart from mine.
I wonder how to tell the little differences, and if there is actually no harm in using the aftermarket.
