It isn't. It clearly states "custom" bezel. Probably after market insert.

Yeah, what Mike said.
This isn't the first time we've seen this one. Although to be fair, it looks pretty nice in the pictures. And so does the Coke. |

probably an older LN with a dial swap to the BLNR/BLRO dial, new BLRO 24 hour hand, and an aftermarket "ceramic" BLRO bezel. I say aftermarket as I doubt they can source a legit part cheap enough to sell this watch for $8k.

How do they do this when even Rolex apparently find it difficult to produce a good clean separation of the red and blue colours required for a ceramic Pepsi Bezel?
A dealer told me that for every 10 Pepsi ceramics bezels produced for the new White Gold GMT, 8 or so (certainly more than half) are discarded by Rolex due to bleeding of the colours. Its very difficult to get a good separation of the red and blue on ceramic. The high cost of producing this bezel is why its limited to a white gold version and we are unlikely to see it on a stainless steel model any time soon. So how can these chaps do it?

It's mostly likely not on par with the real deal. Maybe someone on TRF with $ to spare can buy one / let us know? |

Wish they did do a SS Coke, that would have been my choice when I was buying a couple of weeks ago.
Still, on the plus side, if they ever do release one at least I'll have had time to save up some watch funds again! |

If anything, a ceramic coke would most likely be platinum. There already IS a two-tone GMT in stainless steel, and that is the 116710BLNR. That aside, a platinum coke would also be consistent in an ordered progression: LN/ss --> BLRO/wg --> LNRO/Pt (platinum).
And the most logical place to look for the platinum coke would be in Dr. Tom's collection!!! |

It won't happen but it would be nice if the secondary market became so swamped with these that it forced Rolex into producing a coke in SS, as I already stated it won't happen, but it would be nice!

I've been saying for over 2 years the Plat Coke is coming. Everyone laughs and think it will be SS or no Coke at all. This was direct from Geneva btw. So save your mobey and get ready. They were working on the red bleed so it won't look like the PepC in certain lighting

It's probably cheap black Chinese ceramic that is 1/2 painted.

Any one else think a stainless Coke GMT would pull the rug completely out from under Batman?

I think it would. Faced with the choice I think the majority of buyers would chose the classic Pepsi or Coke.
