Turkey Bacon > Pork Bacon

Had to share that with everyone. Glad I got that off my shoulders

Not religious preference, just prefer the potato chip profile of turkey.

Not even a contest. Nothing comes close to real bacon from pigs, absolutely nothing.

Had turkey bacon for the first time recently, looked like a doggy treat and tasted about how I thought a doggie treat would taste.

I have had some Turkey Bacon that was decent, that and because my wife tells me that I like it better than the real thing.

I will say, my SuperBurgers with a mix of Ground Turkey and Angus Beef, on Portabella buns and Blue Cheese is pretty dang tasty

According to the fitness industry, bacon is the new superfood. Nope, not a joke.

Turkey bacon is plain wrong. It's like making bread out of cabbage

I don't think we get such a thing in the UK, why wouldn't you just buy normal bacon?? Lol.

Nothing beats quality pork bacon. I've been getting the Kirkland brand from Costco, it's great.

Disagree. Turkey bacon is good if there is nothing else, but it isn't better. It is like a Hersey bar vs a piece of genuine Belgium chocolate.

In OP's defense, while tukey bacon may not taste as good as pork bacon (especially if lean turkey is used).. if it's done right, turkey bacon can be pretty good. If anyone is trying to reduce their fat/cholesterol intake, it's a decent substitute

I grew up on a turkey farm, yep that's right...

I've had to endure more turkey at meal time than I care to remember.

Thankfully turkey bacon wasn't on our menu plan.

Dude.... not even close...

My wife sneaks in ground turkey for tacos, that's about where I draw the line.
