Homeless (Work/child safe)

This morning I was sitting on a park bench next to a homeless man.

I started a conversation by asking him how he ended up this way.

He said, "Up until last week, I still had it all. I had plenty to eat, my clothes were washed and pressed, I had a roof over my head, I had TV and Internet, and I went to the gym, the pool, and the library. I was working on my MBA on-line. I had no bills and no debt. I even had full medical coverage."

I felt sorry for him, so I asked, "What happened? Drugs? Alcohol? Divorce?"

"Oh no, nothing like that," he said "I just got out of prison."

Frequent flyers in jai; will feign fatally harming self, so police must bring patients from jail to psych center for majority amenities as described above.

And another situation:; After 3 -5 days in psych unit, medicare pushes patients to discharge; given free 30 day psych meds +, arranges transport with taxi to take client to shelter or street address, and next thing patient gets in taxi, directs taxi to drive around block and then come right back to the ER for admission to same psych unit just discharged from. Your tax dollars at work!

IMHO this is a place for jokes no quasi political opinion. Also Medicare ( a program for those 65 and older) has no such provision. It is medical treatment only. What you cite may be the policy of the social services of the hospital or city.
I fail to see the source of the rest of your observation.
