Icon4 yawns... which is the most repetitive thread on this forum?

from the outset, let me say i love this forum... i can spend many a happy hour reading, learning, admiring, laughing etc...

however, i have more recently seen a repetition of threads... in part due to an influx of new members (welcome by the way).

so my question to my fellow members is... which thread makes you yawn? moan? or groan?? (jj that is not groan in pleasure on sight of a sheep wearing a platty! lol)

some of the threads i yawn at are...

how do i clean my watch?
oh god i have a scratch!
i can only get 5% discount!
can i get it wet?
its 0.04 secs a month too slow...
i dont wear my watch everyday, why does it stop?
if i buy said watch, will it make me rich?
is my gmtII with the 3186 movement rarer/better?

etc etc you get the picture...

yes, i do understand that i dont need to read every thread...

on a constructive note maybe there should be a sticky on most common threads, or on how to use the search facility...

ps i hope i havent offended anyone in any way, shape or form.

But, my question to you is, what can smoke a Porsche:

A 1983, 5.0 Mustang GT -

Cost of a 1983 Mustang GT convertible - $16000
Set of 16 Cobra Wheels and tires -$1200
A few suspension modifications - $600
A few performance upgrades - $1500
The sight of a Porsche in my rear view mirrow after
smoking it on I-35 - Priceless

(Seriously, the "do you wear your Rolex in the shower" was a little over the top.)

What have you been smoking? GMAB! Maybe it can smoke a 914 but so can my front drive lawn mower.

You can believe what you want though. I tell you what, we are close enough, let's meet on 35 for a bit a drag shall we?

How about:

Can I sleep with it on? I don't know, does it keep you awake.

Do you shower with it?

Do you play golf with it?

What wrist do you wear it on?

What winder should I get and/or do I need a winder.

What's a better investment / will hold value best?

SS Daytona. Nuh said.

My favorite today: Do you shake your arm? Are you sh*tting me?

That said, they are newbies that just haven't thought to try a search (no problem here) and discover their question gets asked weekly.

Do you get the feeling we are running out of stuff to talk about.

As soon as I see a "Do you wipe your butt with your Rolex on" or a "Does masterbating frantically wind my Rolex?" thread I'm leaving to join another forum!!!!!

I am afraid that I have found this thread to be more tedious in its haughty character than any number of repetitious inquiries could ever be. Thumbs up to those of you who buck the trend.

Prehaps we should have a Q&A section where newer members can be directed to, which answer those questions.

Just a thought!

The week before you decide to take the plunge and buy the Rolex you've been lusting after for months.
