New Tudor Pelagos Destro - Yes or no?

Ok folks...so we have a thread leading up to today's reveal, and now some offshoots are popping up. Figured a poll would be interesting to measure out the thoughts on it.

I myself am a bit intrigued...first said, damn, a left handed model...not for me. Then I'm thinking if my AD got one in today, I may have to figure out a time to go check it out. I've never tried on a left handed watch so no idea if it'd be something I'd like.

Admit I like the bit of red in there, something many of us would love to see on a Sub or SD.

Thoughts?

I like the red- it tones down the five lines of text and makes it a contender for me.

And when is the last time a high-end maker even offered a destro??? Not since the 70's I think! It is a milestone watch.

The burning question is: all red date wheel or a roulette?

It's roulette Pick Davesw put up had a black date. Look like even in red and odd in black. That's kinda cool!

Depends on what you define as High-End... Panerai makes destros.

Panerai produces them on the reg. I'm not sure if you would consider them high end, but I would and at the very least I'd consider their in-house models on equal grounds with a Tudor.

Nice...my AD said they may not see one before year end unless there is a known sale. Oh well...figure even if I want it I'd want to know how the market was going and what kind of price to pay.

Exactly how I feel. I won't buy one, but I love that Tudor is doing cool stuff like this. Tudor is by far the most exciting brand out there right now, in my opinion.

Is it my imagination, or is the date wheel the same creamy color as the lume?

Date wheel seems creamy to me as well.

IF I got one, I think I would keep it on my left hand. Might actually make a good work watch as the crown guard won't jab into my hand when it's bent in awkward positions, something I have a problem with occasionally.

As a lefty who has mostly worn a watch on the left I see it as more of an upgraded and stylised model and I admire Tudor for having the cojones to release it!

I'd still wear on my left. Since I refuse to let go of my mechanical watches for a smart watch, from time to time I wear a Samsung Gear Fit on my right and it usually annoys me. Can't imagine this would be any better for me

I like it! Super cool piece. Gotta see it first, though. Does the Pelagos bracelet taper?

This is the one I would have picked!! I think it looks great but cannot imagine I would choose to wear it ahead of my Red Sub.
