Hi everyone,
I was wondering what do you think about the 25860. Is there a big difference between that model and the 26300 that came out after?

I couldn't find much information online. The bezel looks a little thin but then again, I am a rookie when it comes to AP. I also was surprised with the stem when I handled the watch after pulling the crown. I am used to handling Rolex and unlike them, there was a little play and it felt a lot more fragile between my fingers. Is that normal on a ROC?
I have been told that the second hand on the sub-dial never stops. Is that true? If so how can one set the exact time?

I am asking because I found a mint 25860 for a good bargain and would like to know whether I should pull the trigger. Is it a nice first AP?

Don't think there is a great difference between those 39mm, I had a newer 41mm ROC which I thought was a better size for the chrono dial. Mine didn't hack so setting the exact time was a bit of a pain and yes the crown is more delicate than a Rolex and needs to handled with a bit more care, esp an older model like that one will. It's a nice watch there with deep blue dial, I prefer the 26300 Panda most of those 39mm, but if the price is good might be worth a buy but the resale market is fairly small so bear that in mind for the future, I got offered some horrible prices for my ROC but found another dealer luckily.

If I buy the watch and send it to APSC, will it come back brand new? There is no apparent problem but I just want to be on the safe side. For the resale I don't mind as I plan to keep the watch. My wrist is 6.7" and I am afraid the 41mm might be too big.

Yes, send it in to APSC and it will be perfect again. Tell the seller this and try to get a bit more off the price. Your wrist is similar to mine and yes it might wear a bit big on you, so 39 is a good choice for you. Good luck.

I have a silver faced 25860 and love it. I would definitely try it on first if you can as the deployant clasp can fit poorly on some wrists. The watch itself is awesome though!
