Incoming.....first vintage piece!!

Just worked a deal with Andrew from Sheartime for this exceptional 1971 Explorer 2. With all my current pieces being modern, I'm hoping this will be a good change of pace! Any of you guys with vintage experience please let me know what you think.

Nice! Love the look of the 1655. Any idea on the production year?

Thanks guys and good catch on the HQ Milton call as that is the watch. Andrew said since it came from California originally he had them put the watch on their site, but it will now be coming from NYC. Should be here Wednesday and I can't wait!

I admired that watch on the H.Q. Milton website, but way above my pay grade. Wear it in good health.

Feels so light/small compared to the modern pieces. Really comfortable and almost forgot I was wearing it after a few hours!

Looks great, love that reference! Out of curiosity, does Andrew shear have a new site? Every time I check out sheartime every watch is listed as sold or on hold...

I've noticed that as well lately which prompted me to just email and ask directly. He was great with responsiveness and let me know which examples he currently has. Not sure if he is working on a new site just yet, but definitely worth contacting him.
