Blue 15300 incoming

Hi guys,

So I just got my unworn blue 15300, and must say it is very nice.
So now I have a green wooden AP box and a brown, also the card board box with the drawings on it is quite nice.

Here's a few pics.
So now I am officially a RO owner.

I just noticed the clasp with the AP logo on both sides, interesting but not sure it's very solid.

Thanks guys it is very cool indeed.
The only small negative thing is that the crown is not very practical, but I guess you need to get used to it.

Great catch! Have to been able to compare it with the 15400? Just wondering about the size difference and color shade as I am looking for either the 300 or 400.
Thanks

400 has a more vibrant blue as these dark pics show. Nice blue dial, mate, if that indeed is a blue dial?

it is my friend, it is, but the lighting wasn't great, and yes the blue is quite dark, maybe the 15400 blue is more interesting but much prefer the 15300 dimensions, in any case to get a good idea one needs to see it under different lighting, for now it is in the bank safe as I need to make a service for it, it is 7 years old, so tomorrow I will try to go to the AP boutique to try the RG 15407, to see if it suits me, and see with the director about servicing my 300

Amazing you found a BNIB--it looks great.

One of the best bang for the buck AP's out there.

Enjoy it!

Thanks mate. Yeah the outer box is quite interesting, I like the fact that I have a greek and brown wooden AP box, it's kind of cool

For me the proportions of the 15300 are perfect, 15400 doesn't do it for me size wise, 41mm from AP is better, IMO, for chronos or skeletons rather than for simple dials. For the shade of blue can't help you, but it is different that's foe sure.

Unworn and with a cool card board box and brown wooden one, now I have the green from the CE diver and the brown, which I find cool.

Thanks. I find it not practical as it is quite small and I had a hard time to screw and unscrew it, I suppose you get used to it

Thanks man. Well I was looking at watches ok C24 and thought whynot look at 15300's, as the lack of second hand of the 15202 bothers me and not a fan of the 15400 proportions, and what do you know, they had one, so decided I needed at one point in my mife to have a RO

I still don't understand why they discontinued this reference.

Well they probably thought that having the 15300 and 15400 (bigger size meant to follow the trend of bigger watches) was redundant and that the 39mm spot was already taken by the jumbo, which is amazing but without a second hand so kind of a deal breaker for me.
I think it is really cool, and the proportions are so much nicer IMHO than the 15400

Definitely like having the second hand and agree that the 15400 is a bit out of proportion.

Not quite ROO size but a little big for a RO.
Well 41 is a great size for a skeleton, chrono or any kind of dial which is not plain, for a plain dial 39 is much better proportioned

In any case I like the proportions, thicker and heavier than my 5712 but slightly, so a little more heft to it but just enough.
