Is it too much to ask....
to have the bezel aligned correctly when you send it to Dallas for overhaul and new bezel after paying over $800.00 ?!??!
Is it?! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Apparently...ha. At least it's an aluminum one so you can pop it off and fix it yourself. Easy peasy DIY procedure.

Send it back. That's a shame, particularly as I have always experienced the best service from RSC Dallas.

Huh? I agree that's sloppy work by the RSC, but be without your watch for another few weeks versus a 2 minute (or less) DIY fix? Not sure why anyone would elect (or recommend) the former over the latter.

I would ask for $5 back for that's approx what it cost to fix it.

Key thing I found was if popping off the bezel, use a sharp knife (thin is the key) and I wrapped it in a ziploc bag. Helped keep the knife from marking the watch case when prying it off.
Pretty sure Jocke's tutorial is still out there...its the one I learned from when I used to swap mine out from one color to another. |

It's surprising to me that they didn't take the time to properly align the insert. Having said that, it is a do it yourself fix.
