Lexus RX450H F Sports Hybrid?
Howdy! Anybody has any experience with this SUV?
I am not really a Lexus fan but I'd like to hear opinions if anybody has any. Thank you and happy new year!

the general consensus from most writers and comparison reviews is that its reliable, economical but boring to drive.
i tend to agree. |

I personally don't like the way it drives.
It's tough without confident steering feedback for me to purchase a vehicle. Once in a blue moon, an idiot will change into my lane or there is large debris. I've got to be able to trust to weave around instantly. Have you considered any other cars? |

I've driven bimmers for as long as I can remember ... I am afraid of the exact issue you describe.

Great SUV. Reliable and comfortable to drive. It's a a bit vanilla. Not a drivers car.

TY ... this is what I've heard as well. The F Sports makes it a bit firmer but if the performance is not there ...

If you truly want a hybrid SUV Lexus makes the best in the industry. Saying it's not really a drivers SUV isn't a con in my book. The quietness and ride is exceptional. I highly doubt you will be disappointed.

I'd just get a loaded Prius and be done with it. It's an excellent car and rides smooth.
Drives just like an RX. If your getting a beater, might as well get a beater. The X5 plug in is great if you don't mind spending more. |

Lexus has great reliability and quality rankings. That speaks volumes in my opinion. The infotainment unit is allegedly somewhat cumbersome and drive quality good but not as crisp as Audi or BMW. I used to stay on top of these things having come from a big name auto manufacturer. IMO I like the design aesthetic of Lexus vehicles more than the same old Audi and BMW's. They are sharp looking cars. That combined with Toyota's reputation with reliability makes Lexus a strong competitor in my book. The RC F sport is on my radar for next vehicle even with so-so performance reviews. Good luck with your choice

You could also look at the Toyota Highlander Hybrid as an option.
