Chrono 24 Experience

Has anyone purchased a watch through Chrono 24? Curious to get a few reviews and comments. Are they reputable? Is the escrow payment service legit? Particular watch is in Greece, do I need to worry about duty, VAT fees or other expenses relative to bringing it into the US? I'm a little hesitant about purchasing through them but they have some good prices. Your opinions would be greatly appreciated.

It's a risk like anything else. There are some trusted sellers on there, and I have bought from them before from a reputable seller in HK.

My advice is to invest a little more $$ and buy from one of the great sellers on here. Paying for peace of mind in an investment in an of itself.

Bought several watches there after contacting them by phone and discussing for a good deal. Great experience. You can also choose protected payment through the website.

One marketplace is like any other - trust is only as deep as the seller's long term reputation.

The same people who sell on Chrono24 can also list here or on eBay or Amazon - so consider the seller's reputation as tablestakes. Don't let the price attract you to any seller without a long track record.

Bought a couple high end watches through chrono24 and made some great deals.

Listen to what others tell you, do your homework and investigate the seller. If you aint 110% sure: hands off.

I am personally hesitant to purchase from Italy, Greece, Spain if I cant go in person and if I cant get enough guarantees about the authenticity.
That is not to say there is anything wrong with those countries, but my personal experience has detemined that to the best/safest course of action for me.

I have done 3-4 transactions via them but I only deal or entertain certified dealers w the green check an if they are willing to do the 3rd party deal w Chrono24 middleman the deal u are safe in my opinion. I try to stay in my country also as that avoids any tariffs or customs bs . All things considered if you research the dealer and use common sense and don't jump on the best deal in a 3rd world country to save 129$ u should be ok buddy
