Louis Vuitton toiletry bags
Hi all,
Long shot but was just wondering if anyone here uses Louis Vuitton toiletry bags and if so if you could help me. ! I'm after some help/thoughts/advice. I'm in the market for a new toiletry bag. The use will be for everyday items, body spray aftershave, wallet, phone, glasses case etc. I've narrowed it down between the Louis Vuitton king size and the toiletry pouch in damier graphite. I've got a few questions that I'm hoping you guys can help with. Choice 1. King size toiletry. 1. Is the strap on the zip sturdy enough to be used as a Handle when full? 2. Do items inside move around a lot if you carry it? Choice 2. toiletry pouch. 1. I'm a little concerned it might not be big enough? What sort of items fit in here? Would it hold all I need it too? 2. Is the zip and the way the opening is designed inconvenient? Which one have you chosen and why? Sorry for the lengthy post but this has been bothering me for a while. Hopefully someone can help shed some light for me. Thanks in advance! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I don't have one, but I was looking to buy the king sized toiletry bag to match my carry on. I just couldn't justify almost $800 for it when my big a$$ bag was on,y a few hundo more. Anyways, my wife bought me a leather Coach toiletry bag and that was the end of the LV dilemma.
So, choice 1 I would make. |

Thanks for your reply! Certainly seems suitable for a good amount of stuff. As I said, mines going to be used mainly for everyday stuff. I don't need to carry a bag to and from work so that's why I'm looking for something to hold things such as wallet, glasses etc. P.s. That's a nice set you got there. For travel related goods like toilets bags and luggage, I only buy Tumi. I enjoy not having to think about my toiletry bag as it will inevitably get spills from cologne and any other kind of liquid. If it gets damaged, I buy a new one without batting an eye.
I have a couple Tumi toiletry bags and I'm completely satisfied. They are well thought out with compartments and zippered pockets. |

I use a Shinola (yes the watch people) toiletry bag. Soft leather, good size, a week, a month, all good for me. Price is right too.

If you need something bigger they have a larger bag that my wife uses for her makeup. I like this bag better, especially the way it opens, but she stole it and I have not ordered another one yet. Their leather is incredible. Their watches, meh.

Personally I wouldn't buy an LV toiletry bag. Soap, water, toothpaste, etc. will ruin it. My friend had a bunch of leather bulgari kits he'd collected from Emirates and was kind enough to give me one. It only lasted me a year. Now I pack my toiletries in a plastic bag with zipper.

My wife are retired and travel about 24 weeks every year and yes even with the best care in the world, we replace the toilet bags every 12 months or so. We just buy a medium quality set of toilet bags and treat them as a disposable item. Treat yourself to something more useful, I have just bought myself a chubby shaving brush which will last forever. I use their hanging toiletry bag. It's awesome, fits pretty much everything- electric razor, toothbrush, cologne, etc.
It's the bag in the bottom left corner. Sent from my Zeitwerk |

I have #2. As in one of the pics above, it's plenty big for all of your toiletry items.
