Panerai sub 00024 bezel marker loose

Hi folks, recently picked up a k serial pam00024.

Watch runs great, bezel is really tight (which is surprising - contrary to a lot of user reports that bezel is usually loose and clunky)

However I noticed on the rotating bezel - the 15 / 30 / 45 minutes dot marker is a bit loose. They kind of move a bit when you touch it, but not majorly loose.

Is this normal? Should this be glued on in case the marker falls out ?

I've seen some pic of the markers rotated into various positions. Seems to be a common problem on these bezels

I have a 243 with a somewhat loose 15 minute marker on the bezel. I believe that these minute markers are screwed into the bezel from the backside. Take bezel off and tighten. I haven't done this or had it done, will wait until I need to have it serviced. I can re-adjust mine by pushing down and rotating the marker, it holds pretty well until it moves, usually due to me wiping it clean.

Thanks for your input tanndonn. Will see of I can get a pair of plastic tweezers to wind it back a bit.

For some reason the bezel is tight as! And since the 24 bezel has very little grip - when you try to turn the rotating bezel your fingers mostly land on these minute dot markers to push forward. Maybe that's why they get loosen over time.

Don't see why panerai didn't just screw and glue them on tight. Or even welded into position in the first place.

Ok so it seems like the minute dot marker is screwed on from behind the bezel. When I use plastic tweezer to rotate the marker I can screw it down tighter. But problem then is the number won't line up and look crooked.

End up using a wee bit of uv glue to fix it in place. Will get this screwed property at the next service .
