I think it's a fantastic car. I love the design of it and think they did an incredible job of it.
Unfortunately I drive one only in my dreams!

But it is a v6 with the thirst of a v10.

Yeah. Totally sick car.

Love what Ford is doing. Can't wait to see the GT500 when it finally lands.

Incredible car and technology, style etc....but I can't wrap my head around the V6 ecoboost. Not the most pleasing sound. But Damn that car looks amazing.

It looks amazing and certainly can't argue with the performance numbers

I just wish they'd come up with a different name for the engine. "Eco boost" sounds like something you'd find in an economy sedan

Well, 216 mph should sway over a least a few of the GT faithful that winced when they first announced the V6 power plant.

I miss the 90s and early 2000s, especially when the CGT/Enzo/Veyron/Ford GT/... got released. Beautiful times, amazing designs and crazy engines.

The engine really needs to be renamed for this car.

Ford GT hits company production vehicle record 216 mph on track

Beautiful car. Design is incredible. Love the interior. Performance numbers are great. Let's just hope the motor holds up better than the ecoboost in the F150. Though I don't think the GT's will be driven the amount of miles as most of the F150's so it should be ok.

My friend group (with trucks) is split about 50/50. 50% have F150's and 50% have something else. (Full disclosure I am part of the something else). The 50% with the F150, most with the ecoboost are going back to V8's or other brands as they trade. Burning up spark plugs constantly, turbo issues, amongst other issues. Mostly related to turbo motor issues, high heat etc.
That and the mpg is not any better than the dinosaur V8 group. Even with the cylinder deactivation deleted in my Chevy.

But as an old Japanese turbo car driver, the turbo sound is really cool to hear.

Love the design, great looking car. I'd like to see one in person & give it a drive.

Eh, my Fusion Hybrid could beat that car in a race.

OK, maybe not.
