Tag Heuer Monaco advice

I already own this throwback piece was thinking about selling it and getting the more modern version but thinking maybe in the future these will be alot rarer

It looks like a CAW211P, the original had 12 hour and a 30 minute counters with no running seconds. I would keep it.

Then I'd keep it unless you can source the earlier 40th anniversary model at a reasonable price. 40th anniversary will become rarer quicker IMHO. Wouldn't trade what you have for anything newer until I saw what they are doing to fill the CH80 vacancy.

Hello.....first post here.

Looking for a Calibre 11 myself, in addition to a 116618, but in Canada where I would prefer to buy, the dealers want nearly $8K for the latest variant..........waaaaay to much for the watch when it can be had for $5K USD, or less, from what I have seen in my travels.

That piece is a keeper! Tag reissues are neat BUT nothing compared to the vintage originals! I can clearly see why they've been bringing so many of them back. Back in the day Tag was really something. It still is but not like it used to be in my honest opinion. Anyway, KEEP IT!
