Journey. Kansas. Boston. Pat Benetar. Zeppelin was still making music, weren't they?
And this was the height of the New Wave era in Oklahoma. There's Devo. Flock of Seagulls. The Tubes. Talking Heads. B-52s. All bring back great memories! And don't forget the Great One Himself: Todd Rundgren and Utopia, which disbanded in the mid-80s. |

U2 if we are talking rock bands. Boy (1980) October (1981) War (1983)
The Unforgettable Fire (1984), & best of all The Joshua Tree (1987) On your list I would have voted AC/DC, but their best stuff came in the earlier years of the seventies. Liked the emergence of REM. Other band would be New Order. |

Yes, of course I like U2!!! I forget to put 'em in the list... My favorite Album is Rattle & Hum. BTW do you know U2 in Christian Rock Band? Bono said that in his interview with Rock Magazine. |

I'm not aware of bands when I was born
But I vote for Metallica, 'fade to black' is one of the best harmony come to my ears, especially Kirk's melody |
