Up for grabs is a Rolex Submariner Date in steel

1680 reference

5.6 mil serial number circa 1978 production

Excellent vintage condition case has been previously polished, but retains chamfers and strong crown guards. Serial and reference numbers are fully intact and clearly visible.

Dial is original MK1 Lemerich with closed 6's in excellent condition. No scratches, chips, or drag marks. All tritium is intact and has aged to a cream patina. Hands are original and tritium with few shades darker lume (appears more dramatic in pictures than in person). Original silver date disk with open 6's and 9's.

Original bezel insert with "ghost" gray fade with a hint of blue hue.

Caseback is original, stamped 1680 inside.

Rolex 93150 bracelet with 10 links, 580 ends, diver's extension, moderate stretch from use, K date code.

No box or papers. No documented service history. The watch winds smoothly, runs well with strong amplitude.
