NZ is a beautiful country with a big variety of spectacular scenery all in a relatively small area. I was last there in '86 - which is a long time ago - and I loved the fact that the people were very 'folksy'. Like a lot of other Western countries were in the '50 - 60s.
As a small country they had some issues with their economy and unemployment in the past, but now seem to be going really well.
