I am trying to see how many people we have locally around New Orleans, north shore, Baton Rouge and Houma.

I believe it's a bigger chance to ask on a sundial forum.

Because it was a witty and somewhat funny response. Kind of like responding by asking how many PP owners live on houseboats in the Florida Everglades (but certainly not to that extreme).
Louisiana/New Orleans is a terrific place to visit with great food, music, and a mixed-culture unique to America. In addition, the American south and southeast has some of the most beautiful women in the world. California often pales in comparison (despite the classic Beachboy's song). |

I'll be in New Orleans in September. I used to live in Metairie, but that well pre-dated my ability to afford anything more than a quartz Guess watch.
Are there any watch shops that are "must visit" while I'm there? |

Louisiana
Nice to see that there are members in Louisiana. I felt that I was in watch desert compared to my friends in other locations. Only once has anyone noticed my watch. That’s cool since I only buy for my own enjoyment, not to impress.
I’ve been bitten by the Rolex bug and haven’t found a cure. Life is good. Interested in meeting other watch enthusiasts. Best to you.
