Think outside the box: An Explorer are for newbies - and...
...a Submariner are for experienced people:

Well, I certainly don't agree with you, but to each his own.

Great photo! But I am an "oldie" and one of my newest watches is an Explorer.

My point exactly.
An Explorer is outdated. A Submariner is always on point. Quote:

That gold sub screams,"look at me, please, look at me."
I can have any watch I want and wear an Explorer. Don't even wear my 16610 much anymore. |

"That depends upon what the meaning of the word 'is' is."

Explorer by definition means one who explores an unfamiliar area, also known as a "newbie"?

Explorer
Any day and every day over a gold Sub. A gold Sub is like a Land Rover Defender with a vinyl roof and white wall tires.

First Rolex I've worn that I forget I'm wearing it. Feels like it is a part of me . I can appreciate it so much more after having tried most of them. Pretty close to perfection.

I agree these Range Rovers are awful. Just mountains of leather, cherry wood, and the occasional Rolex

Now let's go overboard and say the current Rolex lineup is for newbies, vintages are for the more experienced people...
Jokes aside while the Sub looks great in gold, the idea of PM Rolex will never stick with me...Sub or no Sub. Sent from my F8132 using Tapatalk |
