Incoming first AP ROO

Well I won't go into the finer details, but I've received a gift from a lady friend.. AP ROO 42mm Ref: 26470ST.OO.A028CR.01

Should be getting it this weekend

Already on the scrounge for a new strap as I'm not that keen on the current one and just trying to find out what strap makers are out there?

Already looked at AP Bands, Gunny and a few others but nothing really catches my eye.

Ideally I would like something similar to the one below

Any suggestions greatly appreciated

Well resist until she buys you a few more, how cool is that, you're not married and she offers you an AP, you hit the jackpot my friend

About the strap it's great, personally hate the hornback, I would get a rubber one though, which should set you back around 700, 400 for tang buckle and 300 for the strap, but for gator I think the strap is way cooler as it is.
Don't forget to post pics of the gal, euh watch, when you get it

Watch I've received is the first one

No strap makers that make a similar hornback without the $1000+ price tag?

Guessing you'll need a new buckle if you get the Navy horn back from AP. What's wrong with the Gator it comes with? Looks great to me.

Nothing particularly wrong with it. I personally believe the hornback would really set it off

It just might, I'm a huge fan of the horn back straps... Add another $7-800 for the AP folding clasp to fit that strap. The tang that comes with your ROO will not work.

Didn't take the folding clasp into consideration. But I might lash out and just do it, as someone already stated the piece cost me nothing

Long story very very short.

I have worked with her for about 10 years. She's recently taken a shinning to me and things have kind of progressed. That's about all the information I'm willing to divulge at this point.

Oh, just one other thing... her fathers happens to be my boss

And this isn't the first purchase either.. She already added a DJII into my collection a few months back. Just to stir things up a little more!
