Question for 16710 -Coke owners...

OK. So if a S/S Coke Ceramic is released this year, would you:

1. Sell your 5 digit Coke and get the new ceramic Coke?

2. Buy the new ceramic Coke and have one of each?

3. Keep what you have?

Ive seen this question posed as a "BLNR or COKE Cermic?", but this is more of a metal bezel Coke v ceramic bezel Coke.

Personally, having the new Ceramic gmt (BLNR) and a 5 digit Coke, i would keep my 5 digit. Wouldnt even be tempted.

.

I would keep the blnr I have because I prefer blue over red. However, after owning the 116719 blro, I realize that the red sometimes looked pink or purple and didn't mind it but I could see how it might bother some people. So I would have to see how well then do the coke red on ceramic before making a decision. It will be released in platinum anyway so why are we still making these threads.

Its just a hypothetical question. I used S/S as an example because that would be the most "affordable" and more likely to be upgraded to than a PM.

I would keep my Coke and BLNR and add new Coke. The original 16710A is a classic and would not part with it. In fact if I only could have one I'd keep the original and pass on the ceramic. This is all a big if of course one even comes out in SS.

Would pick Coke over BLNR as I don't care for the blue/black scheme. But not sure if I would give up my aluminum Coke for ceramic Coke. The fact you can change 16710 to a Pepsi gives it a huge advantage over the ceramic bezel.

Here's the answer. Get a Black and Pepsi insert. No way I'd sell the 16710.

I wouldn't sell any of those, but if feasible add a SS Coke IF it became reality, although waiting list will be like the BLNR when it first came out. I think it's wishful thinking that the SS Coke will be released since Rolex spent a mint to develop the red ceramic and don't think they will give it up so easily due to the BLRO. Cheers!

I regret the day I sold the 16613 to get the 116613 . Love my bluesy but there is something so soulful and classic about the 5 digit ones..I'd keep the 5 digit and add the ceramic

Would not sell... Might add if the red looks correct and in stainless. But I'm not optimistic of the release and how it'll look.

I would most likely stay put with my BLNR and 1610 A Coke. I enjoy both aluminum and ceramic bezels.

NO way I would sell the 16710. To me the proportions, size, and weight are perfect. Would not but a SS ceramic Coke either.

BLNR with the easylink is my international travel business watch. Regional travel its the Voyager II and recreational travel the 16710 Coke or Pepsi or the 16713 Root beer.

Love "My First Girl" 16710 Coke. Especially because it's on jubilee. The original jubilee is safely stored in the original box and I have a Super Jubilee on the watch. Love the 40mm 16710 on a Jubilee!! Never give her up. But...........if a new ceramic on jubilee comes out I may just buy one of them.
