Pam 560

I've been reading reviews and watching videos on the many Panerai models.

I'm focused on a base model, hour-minute only, with the sandwich dial. The 560 keeps popping up as fitting my criteria.

I have a 7" wrist and don't want a watch the looks like a strapped on pocket watch.

I current wear Rolex, DayDate, DateJust, and GMT II.

I'd appreciate seeing opinions on the 560 vs other base models.

Check the 112 out! Hard to find nowdays, but worth it. Will probably increase in value overtime, since its out of production. Also ETA movement, so easier / cheaper to service.

Its basically the same watch you're looking at, without the "8 days" on the dial.

Cheers

560 fits your criteria, but check out the 372. Also, look at used 390...special edition, reasonable price, gold hands. Very nice

^^agree with the 000, I really enjoy mine, but he wants sandwich dial so my 390 suggestion doesn't work either. How about a classic 210?

I have 7-inch wrist and own 560 and IMO its perfect and I found lot of watches too big easily. Also, PAM's are supposed to look little big on your wrist but they are so comfortable.

Have this stock pic.. not good idea for you as its too close but maybe will take one later.

If you weren't looking for a sandwich dial I'd whole-heartedly recommend the 000. What about a 112? They're both discontinued, but not hard to find.

Pic from internet. 112 on far left with sandwich dial and no logo, 000 on the far right with sausage dial and logo.

Great advice.

Personally, if I wanted the sandwich, I'd go for a Rad, so 210 (or 232 ). If a Luminor, I prefer sausage dials, so the 000 (or 005, a personal favorite).

^^nice pic. I own or have owned all three pictured there. My favorites from least to most are
210
112
000

The zero is the best...it is my favorite to wear and cost the least.

I agree 100%. The Zero is my favorite and only Pam, but I love all three of these.
