How did they do that????

There is a post " DAY DATE II " in that post there are some pics of awesome watches including the new DD II.

I noticed that on all the watches the time is 10:11 but how did they get all the min hands to show 31 sec past the hour???:th inking:

So all the richie-rich folk here in Auckland could have a look at them and then place orders for the ones they liked. A lot of the DD-II models have already been paid for in advance.

Actual stock should start arriving next month for those who have made down-payments.

Is the question why a lot advertisements for watches show the time as 10:10.31 or so? Supposedly this has a pleasant "face." The hour and minute hands are kind of a smiley face. The second hand position gives a degree of symmetry.

Rolexers do it with perpetual movements.

By using the hack mechanism and pulling the crown out to position number 3 exactly when the second hand reaches 31 seconds. Alot of work, but a true WIS does notice their efforts.
