The New Rolex Sea Dweller

This was just released on the Rolex website.

What do you guys think?

Here is the Youtube video:
https://www.youtube.com/8R1ubtHT5-Y

From the Rolex website:
"Rolex is introducing the latest generation of its Oyster Perpetual Sea-Dweller, a legend among professional divers’ watches created 50 years ago in 1967. The new Sea-Dweller features a larger, 43 mm case and the new calibre 3235, at the forefront of watchmaking technology and employed for the first time in a Rolex Professional category watch. To enhance the reading of the date, it is equipped, also for the first time, with a Cyclops lens on the crystal at 3 o’clock. The dial bears the name Sea-Dweller in red, a reference to the first model."

Stats:
Case Dia: 43mm
Movement: 3235

3 years only. It was launched at Basel 2014. Seriously short run for a modern Rolex.

SDc is no longer listed under "all SeaDweller models" for me. Looks like it's gone, the website is currently being updated by the look of it.

Chaps

Pure vulgar tat.

Sorry but it it looks like it is something you would win in a gaming arcade.

Very sad.

Would have rather the date gone than the cyclops added.

70 hours power reserve up from 48 (my 3135 power reserve not official period) is an obvious improvement.

The Deep Sea and Deep Blue are still on rolex.com. They are under Sea Dweller, then hit configure.

not sure if anyone has replied to this as I haven't scrolled down enough yet, but they are still there. Just have to click on the sea dweller then go to configure and the DSSD is lumped in there.

It is a winner but too large for me, now to track down a BNIB SDc!

Yes. I'm just annoyed that they decided to fix the endlink fitment. SD4K is stuck with the disjointed ones - I'm willing to let these 'grow on me' and add a cyclops as a soft mod since I can't stand the SubC.

looks good but the size is also a killer for me. I will still try it on when my AD gets one, who knows it may wear small.
