Which Submariner LV would you go with?
Hi TRF,
I'm in the market to buy a Sub LV. Four trusted sellers (OCROLEXGUY, takuya, DavidSW, and justrolexes) all have them available at a fine price point, so would be comfortable buying any one of them. I'm just looking to buy the one in best condition (they're all at a similar price point), so how do I know which one to go with? The options are: 1. June 2016, Green Tag 2. Random Serial, Red Tag 3. August 2014, Red Tag 4. June 2015, Unpolished I guess my biggest question is should I go unpolished or just get the newest one available? All are box & papers included. |

Have been waiting for Basel to pull the trigger; no green sea-dweller means green sub for me! |

Everyone has their favorite dealers, but I'd buy from Patrick or Thanh just based on prior good experiences. Patrick and I have done a lot of business together in both directions. He's always my first call.

116610 LVC really don't have difference in my mind. It is not an anniversary model so dates won't matter.

I'm a bit confused on the tag color business - you mean warranty, right?
I don't think a good polish takes away from the value, but many other people do. It's up to you - it's your watch. I say: buy the best one that you can afford.

Green tag is five years and red is two right? If you are really having trouble go for one that's unpolished and/or has open card.

Yup, by tag color just highlight the 2 year vs 5 year warranty?
All are similar price, so just trying to figure out which one is the best :) June 2016, 5 year warranty, polished vs. June 2015, 2 year warranty, unpolished |

The price on used vs new is so close, I wouldn't even bother going that route. Just put in some feelers for a new one.
Everyone has their favorite sellers. I have purchased from Takuya and Briboxer and both have been great. I've reached out to others you listed and they have all been very friendly despite me wasting their time asking stupid questions. If you must go the used route, I'd go with anything that doesn't have a name on the warranty card and green superlative tags. Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
