Best bang for your buck Rolex! Crazy that the YM2 is priced $4k more than this Uber complicated model.

It's a great piece but the service costs bother me. Also, I hear from my AD that it can be a PITA to set this watch because it apparently has a leap year function; he said it's the one watch that he would recommend keeping on a winder.

No need to keep it on winder either. All functions can be adjusted ANYTIME, forward and backward, without any risk of damaging the movement. Adjusting is super easy thanks to command bezel. |

Yep! As I have stated in a few threads now, this to me is the star of the show. $14k for the look and complication of what was a PM only watch? Yes please!! |

It's SS/WG right? Is the centre links WG? or just bezel?

A complete shocker in SS and will be huge for Rolex in the long run once everything sets in IMO
I was shocked to see TT, then when read more and found SS, I almost fell out of my seat |

I just checked A Blog To Watch to see more pics of the SkyD, and their site is truly awful. How are they in business? It says "Baselworld 2016" on their site.

Guys. Hold on.
Its a Two tone white gold/stainless steel. It comes in yellow gold/ss and white gold/ss I don't believe it to be all SS. Here is dialogue from there website. Rolex is introducing new versions of the Oyster Perpetual Sky-Dweller, its classic watch for world travellers, for the first time in a choice of yellow Rolesor or white Rolesor versions – combining 904L steel and 18 ct yellow or white gold.
