Is it alright to wear a Rolex (Sub) whilst using a UV sunbed?

As above, it won't damage it right?

Why would you want to do that? You actually want those marks on your arm?

However, would not really harm the watch I think, maybe on the longer run (lets say frequent sunbeds for a couple of years) your dial will start to discolor faster than usual.

Was about to ask the same question, but think you should use your own plain common sense regarding sun beds.

it depends what hand you would comb your hair with and which wrist you wear your rolex on.

Thanks toph!

Would it make a difference if I did, say, a side part versus no part? If a side part, would a left part be more aesthetically in tune with my Rolex (with arabic numbers)?

I would NEVER NEVER do this. Your hair contains static electricity and could de-magnetise your watch and short circuit the batteries. Tiny bits of hair could also could also slip under the bezel of your watch and settle underneath the crystal. Before long you will have a hairy dial.

PS

Loggins - don't worry, but why wear it under a sunbed in the first place

Some members can only go through the motions of combing hair that is now clogging their drains. For those, combing will pose no danger of generating static electricity though it gives an itchy scalp a good scratching.

That is a good question - I have never worn mine in the daylight for fear it might fade.

I just heard about a UV-blocking moisturizing lotion designed specifically for 904L steel to prevent sun damage. Can't seem to remember where I saw it, however......

Arrgh... silly thread. How about, "Is it safe to wear my Rolex if I jump off a building wearing a wide brimmed hat with feathers and a pair of shorts and a singlet"? I had to use that word "singlet" as it make me think about JJ. How crazy is that? Go sheep!
