Does anyone else...
.... still look at their wrist, momentarily catch their breath and think "Holy ****, I'm wearing a ROLEX!"?
I've had mine for just over a year now and had an Omega for nearly 10 years before that and I still get that thrill a couple of times a day. |

Not so much b/c it's a Rolex, but b/c of its physical beauty.

Occasionally the pure bumper to bumper badassery of my 16710 or 114270 impresses me.

I've had a Rolex in some form on my wrist since Dec. of 1999, and still love looking down and feeling proud and fortunate to be able to have such time pieces. We are all blessed!!

That's a much more articulate way of putting what I was trying to say. Although most of us love Rolex for their beauty and the quality of watchmaking, it's an inescapable fact that they are also symbols of quality, achievement and success. For whatever reason they were purchased, it's a privilege to own one(/several) and that good fortune still catches me regularly.

in a few sentences?
Honeymoon period ain't yet over It only means that you are happy and maybe content at the moment that you happen to be wearing a Rolex. ...............and now you are either ready to take another plunge to another level or stop right there and savorly enjoy the piece. Cheers! |

I've been wearing a Rolex daily since 1985, and never grew tired of it. But the Daytona I got four months ago makes me smile every time I put it on and every time I feel or see it on my wrist. Not a single moment of second thought.

I never thought I'd buy one when I was in my twenties so I suppose I did the first time I bought a Rolex, and then big time on an AP as it was a PM one. But I was a bit blasé by the time I got my PP.

Not because it's a Rolex, but because it's lovely. Esp my gmt. The way the light plays off the bezel is amazing with the pop from the pcl etc. Stunning. In fact I'm sure a few people on the tube think I'm a weirdo for gazing at my wrist.....(and it's the 'boring' black one)..
It sort of tells you that you did the right thing though. If you love it so much you keep looking at it, you did well... |

Yes everyday when I either wear my 114060 or BLNR. Mostly for BLNR. Has to be a Rolex thing. I mean they are simply beautiful. I don't even do this when I wear my Tag.
