Can this DaytonaC-white be real?

I was strolling through the streets of NY and stumbled across this DaytonaC in battery/jewelry/watch/fixer/supply store windiw in a quiet part of Manhattan far away from the 5th Ave ADs and 47th midtown diamond exchange

I have no idea if it is real or for sale. I was shocked to see it and looked hard at it and tried to compare to my own DaytonaC.

I think it was real but couldn't tell for sure. In some instances it kind of screamed fake but u never know. The dude in inside looked creepy, scary, and gangster-like, so I avoided

Blue Replica plastic ...on what supposed to be a New Daytonya C ...not to mention no box papers anything...but I'm assuming he's got them behind the counter..lol

i also saw another thread where the "R" in Rolex should sit partially above the "S" in Oyster on real Daytona's (and confirm that this is true on my DaytonaC)

Looking the picture I posted it seems like it the "R" starts above the "T" in Oyster and is no close to the "S" = FAKE!


But incredible how "real" they look from a distance and at a quick glance

looks like every other good quality knockoff out of asia.... one of the local malls here is FULL of copy crap and all the Rolex's have that blue wrapping on them.... ive never seen a jeweller buy the blue stuff and re-wrap their stuff with it........
even the grey dealer just use clear wrap(cling wrap)

if i was a betting man id say knockoff!
