How does your Rolex make you feel? Pics please

The OP39 Rhodium was my first, new in March 2017 from AD. I have some experience with RSC and Rolex pre owned as my father has a Date Just 2.

I was not sure at first if it would be an Explorer 1 or OP39. I have never been into dive watches and the Daytona is way out of budget. I love the 0P and like the Explorer 1. After eight visits to various ADs that lasted months convinced me of the striking contrast between the blue markers and rhodium dial in different lighting. Every time I looked at the watch it was different, I love that!

So after 6 weeks I like it more and more. First for me is the consistent quality, direction and attention to detail from the brand. Second, this brand from a manufacturing standpoint has few question marks if anything. Third, great brand resale on a sub 0-5% and OP 15-20% depreciation overall.

Being able to buy this I feel privileged and rewarded for going through life struggles. It sounds silly but I am inspired to work harder for the next one. I paid in cash and have plenty in the bank in case of a rainy day.

How about you guys?

That is a great association with the watch the Battle of Britain. I think the spitfire pilots had been give the Airking's by Hans Wilsdorf in WW2?

The AK was released in 1945, five years after the Battle of Britain.

I do not wear mine to work. I wear it more at home and when working from home. So when coming home it is a nice luxury to put it on

Rolex reminds me of a famous film.

Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory. Rolex is the equivalent for adults .

Big chunk of gold contrasted by the blue would make me feel excellent also.
