You ever have one of those happy and sad days?

Been trying to make up my mind between the Hulk or the Batman. Went and looked at both, decided upon the Hulk. Then I got to thinking about all those watches I've been buying lately. And thought to myself, "Self, you oughta do something nice for your wife - maybe buy her a watch." So I did some lady watch shopping. She's got a couple of nice watches, including a ladies DJ. And she really likes wearing my watches. A lot. And they look good on her - so that was a vote against a lady watch.

So then I started thinking through which watches she might like in the guy watch department... and it led me right back to the Hulk. Well, they only had one of 'em.

So the inner sneaky part of me said, "Self, you could buy this for your wife - and, um, you know, if she doesn't like it, you've got yourself another watch." I know, I know. Reading it just now it doesn't sound nearly as good as an idea as when I was standing in the AD.

So I buy it and bring it home and she's out back catching some sun. She sees the bag from the AD and says, "What'd 'ya buy me?" Right about then I started to think I'm probably not gonna get to wear this watch too much.

So... I'm happy that I bought my wife a nice watch. I'm happy I made her happy. I was happy while hanging out at the AD. But now I'm a little sad. Overall, though, still happy.

Nope. You're not getting that back from the looks of her smile.
But oh, the gratitude.
Well done, sir!

No, not even close. I rarely remove a link, especially with the new adjustments on the subs. But took two links out of this one. I was hoping at tightest it would fit her, and extended all the way fit me. No go, will have to take more links out. She's pretty small.

My wife wears my (she would say her), Hulk.

She never had much interest in my watches until I showed her how to adjust the slider.

I was doomed after that. Now she wears a bunch of my watches.

It's like teaching your wife to play golf.

Seemed like a good idea at the time!

You have successful opened a door that may never close!

Congrats to the Missus! Take solace in the fact you'll be able to see it around the house now...just not on your wrist.

Yes I can relate, have had same feelings as you, but it's always more fun to give than to receive. You did the right thing, look at that smile you put on her face. Well done sir.

Very nice!

Yes take off enough links to fit her wrist on the "tightest" setting. Glidelock to the rescue indeed.
