Best place to source a Glidelock bracelet?
I'm thinking about swapping out the bracelet on my BLNR. Any suggestions?

I think the entire bracelet runs around $2,200. I'm not sure about just the clasp itself, I've heard people say that they come up for sale on the forums from time to time, you would have to polish the center part of it though.
I have heard some ADs require you to own the watch you are purchasing the bracelet for and that some make you hand in your old bracelet. Again this is just what I've read here so sorry if I am steering you in the wrong direction. I am sure someone who has acquired one will chime in soon. When I owned the BLNR I took the bracelet off my Sub and put it on my BLNR, it was pretty awesome |

When I reached out to one of my AD contacts, I told him which watch the glidelock was going on. I didn't give to give up my original bracelet. However, Rolex will not let them order ONLY the glidelock clasp.

Sweet, all you need is the clasp then. Good luck on your hunt. I'll PM you if I see one come up for sale while I'm browsing |

The price of the bracelet is almost 40% of the price of a pre loved ND SubC geesh.

This is forum heresy, but you can certainly get an aftermarket micro adjust clasp, like the one on the Ginault OR and some other brands, on eBay. Many here get oddly upset about anyone having a non-Rolex branded part on their watch, but if you don't care about that it works great.

Next time you see someone with a ND SubC convince him that it would look sooo much better on a Nato strap...

Really is a shame-- there would certainly be a ton of demand if Rolex would sell just the glidelock clasp, but I get why they don't do it, I guess.

I've purchased 2 Glidelock clasps and one full 97200 bracelet here on the forum...have the full 97200 on my BLNR and have NEVER looked back - it should have been an option for the watch.
Expect to pay between USD 1900-2500 for the bracelet (like new versus new) or about USD 800-900 for the clasp only - you won't regret it for a second.

All you need is the clasp if you could find one they will retro fit most all oyster bracelets but clasp alone retails over $1000 now.

Damn that's expensive; on other hand, Omega's equivalent of glidelock costs about $150 and Omega boutiques let them buy for older watches instantly and even put it up for free!

Hit up ViperB in the Accessories & Parts section, he may be able to get you one. You may have to wait, and it won't be cheap.
There's always this site's Accessories Section, eBay & Chrono24, but you'll have to be vigilant and check it regularly. They tend to move quick.

I wish the glidelock clasp was standard on the oyster bracelet models. The best clasp available.
