Slow Submariner Now Running Fast

So I recently had hernia repair surgery. Before the surgery I was a stomach sleeper but now I sleep on my back while I heal. I left my watch at home for surgery and it completely ran down after I returned 3 days later. Reset watch and now with back sleeping it's around +.05 per day instead of -.05 a day. Thoughts?

The watch can run faster and slower depending on how wound it is, the position it's resting in, and several other factors.

Recover from your surgery and forget about the very very minor trivialities about half a second difference a day out of 86400 others.

I think you meant 1/20th of a second Peter. I'm curious how that was measured.

Could the OP mean + or - 5secs, i.e. he is perhaps treating the decimal point as the differential between minutes and seconds?
