I was looking forward to this but tried it on at my AD last week and was disappointed... felt blah compared to the other black bays (I have the red). I was surprised by the BB chronograph which was nicer and more cohesive of a piece in person compared to pictures (though I still think it has a "confused" identity).

Really like this one. If I didn't already have an explorer II 16570, would definitely be on the list.

Congratulations on your BB steel .Mine says Hello, Alongside its distant cousin a 79090 blue from 1989 . I think the BB steel is definitely a better in the flesh watch . The finish is excellent quality & the in-house movement is extremely accurate so far .

I already have a Tudor BBB (ETA) the only Black Bay I'd want as its companion is the steel BB with date, like yours. Congratulations.

That's a nice watch. Congrats. Tudors have really been growing on me recently, having always overlooked them because of the snowflake hand. However, I seem to have grown to like it now.
I've got my eye on one of these SS bezel black bays, but the one that really sings to me is the S&G. I can see a space in my collection for both one day.
Enjoy it. It's lovely.

Nice piece! Though I'd also like to see the normal bezel BB with a date.

I have been thinking about the possibility of fitting a black bezel insert 😎

I have a Black Bay Black and love it. This one looks nicer, but will have to see in the flesh.
