Which dial on the DD 40 white gold

I am leaning towards the black stick. I wonder how the rhodium would look with the vertical lines. The green roman also looks great. One just posted yesterday.

If you were buying the daydate 40 in white gold what would be your dial preference or your preference anyway?

Thanks

Personal preference, i'd go with the classic DD, yg green dial.
For what you're asking, i think both black and rhodium would look great... but i think black would be my pick since i love sunburst dials and prefer batons instead of romans.

My two favorites are the WG with olive green dial and WG with blue dial. Only issue I see with the blue dial is low legibility. The gray dial has a more classic look with the stick markers. So for me green>blue>gray.

I would keep it classic with gray / rhodium and sticks. But you really can't go wrong.

Stick dials for me. Olive is sweet, but so is the glacier blue and the grey

Those are my pics as well

Haven't seen the black dial in person. It may move into second place for me.

Olive is nasty. Stick dials. Black face makes it look like a movado.

I've tried on a few WG DD40 including blue and olive. Oddly it's the silver dial with pinstripes and lume that really sings to me. The black stick you mentioned seems to be what Louis CK is wearing on the SNL Lawyer sketch, visible from about 3 minutes in.

A contrarian view: In person, black diamond indexes are surpringly superlative.
